Stepping into the Foxwood Tea House gives you the feeling of stepping back into the 1800's. Each room is decorated with a variety of antiques from the Victorian era. From the wall papers on the walls and ceilings, floor coverings, light fixtures, walling hangings, silver, china, the many textiles and furniture.

You are greeted at the front door by owners Roger and Jeanine Shawgo. You step into the foyer which is highly decorated on the ceilings and walls with Bradbury and Bradbury art wallpapers. Roger and a local carpenter built the wood staircase. The newel post light fixture is from the 1800's.

There are three rooms in which to have tea.
The Front Parlor :  This room will set up to 15 people. The Front Parlor is also a gift room for shopping while tea is being prepared.
Breakfast Room:  Sets up to 6 people. Walls and ceilings are papered with Bradbury and Bradbury Art Wallpapers. Jeanine's collection of antique cranberry glass adorns the side board. The 1800's Etagre also stores many antique glass pieces.

Dinning Room : This room will set 20 people. Walls and ceiling adorned with Bradbury and Bradbury Art Wallpaper. Crown molding in this room is from the famous Davenport Hotel in Spokane.

This beautifully built two story residence was built as a private home by owners Roger and Jeanine Shawgo.

Construction began in 1999. The tea house opened in 2003. Tea is served by Reservation only. Foxwood Tea House can set up to 60 people.
